Suppliers benefit as well, as the bank purchases approved invoices and waits for repayment from the buyer. This allows suppliers to receive early payment when they present invoices for discounting. Suppliers can discount some or all invoices at any time before maturity, offering maximum flexibility. SCF is a win-win solution, providing working capital, liquidity, and stability for both parties in the financial supply chain.

Trade Payable Finance (TPF) is a lending solution designed for middle market companies that need to extend payment terms on inventory purchases. This can be particularly useful for companies with larger-than-normal seasonal inventory needs or those facing long supply chains due to shipping challenges. With the support of external insurance, Affiliate’s Trade Payable Finance program enables both borrowers and the bank to extend payment terms, making prudent transactions possible.

Amegy Bank is among the select few US banks authorized to participate in the US Department of Agriculture’s GSM-102 program. This program promotes exports by encouraging US agricultural goods exporters to offer extended payment terms to foreign buyers, backed by a partial US Government guarantee. The exporter will be paid as if no payment terms were involved. The program supports both large global corporations and smaller US exporters.
