What are the differences between Direct Connect and Digital Banking Banking?
Direct Connect links your Quicken® and QuickBooks® financial management software directly with your Amegy Bank accounts, allowing you to download transactions, pay bills or transfer funds directly. Digital Banking uses a web browser, such as Google Chrome, or a mobile phone application to create a secured connection between your computer and the Amegy Bank Digital Banking site. Digital Banking gives you access to your banking balances and transactions, as well as the ability to pay bills, make transfers and apply for loans online, etc.
What versions of Direct Connect software can I use with Amegy Bank?
All supported versions of Quicken® can use DirectConnect. Quicken®’s support for importing transactions typically only goes back 3 years.
What is the Amegy Bank routing number and Customer ID that my software requires?
The routing number is 113011258.
Your Customer ID was provided to you at the time of enrollment. If you have forgotten or misplaced this info, please call us at 800-287-0301, Mon - Sat, 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. CT.
When is the information in Direct Connect updated?
The information in Direct Connect is updated every morning with activity from the previous day. Transactions can be downloaded Tuesday–Saturday. Direct Connect will only download items posted to accounts and won't show any pending items.
What is the difference between Web Connect and Direct Connect?
Web Connect allows users to login to Amegy Bank Bank Digital Banking and select the Download option to export data from Digital Banking to Personal Financial Management (PFM ex. Quicken®, QuickBooks®) Software. You'll be able to select a time range to download activity. You can download up to 18 months of activity. Using this method, you can view loan and credit card activity. However, this option doesn’t allow you to pay bills via PFM.
With Direct Connect, the PFM automatically imports transactions from Digital Banking. Using this method, you won’t be able to select a date range or view loan activity. However, you can pay bills and make transfers to loans through your software instead of using Amegy Bank bill pay and transfers.
How do I add additional accounts to my Direct Connect?
The first step is to create a new account within your software by entering the correct account number. All checking and money market accounts use 9-digit account numbers and all savings accounts use 10 digits. After completing the required fields, contact Online Banking at 888-500-2960 to request the linkage of the additional account and access will be provided within 24 hours.
How much does it cost to use Direct Connect?
Consumer: Please see the Schedule of Fees in the Agreement Center.
Business: For fees, contact Online Banking at 888-500-2960, Mon - Sat, 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. CT.
The monthly fees for Consumer and Business Direct Connect include the optional Bill Pay service, which allows you to make an unlimited number of bill payments at no additional cost. Software for Direct Connect is not provided by Amegy Bank and must be purchased prior to using this service.
How do I find out my Direct Connect password if I’ve forgotten it?
Contact Online Banking at 888-500-2960, Mon - Sat, 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. CT. We can reset your password over the phone.
If I need assistance troubleshooting my Direct Connect software, whom do I contact?
If you experience difficulty related to your Amegy Bank accounts, call Online Banking at 888-500-2960. For all other technical support, you'll need to contact the program manufacturer.
