Carlos de Aldecoa Bueno is President and CEO of Cadeco Industries, Eximius Coffee, and Gulf Coast Distillers. Located near downtown in Houston’s trending East End, the enterprises are the modern incarnation of a 3rd generation, family-owned group of companies focused exclusively on the food and beverage industry. In 1995, Cadeco Industries retrofitted and modernized the iconic Uncle Ben’s processing facility on Clinton Drive, converting it into the largest and most diversified independent bulk coffee processing facility in North America. Each day, Cadeco receives and processes more than one million pounds of coffee from all over the world.

The firm serves as a holding company for a family of related companies that develop planned residential for sale and rental communities along with associated commercial buildings. Related service firms provide asset management, leasing and transactional services for land and commercial properties. The firm also participates in various private equity investments.
Donna Cole

In 1980, after a recent divorce and her 4-year-old daughter in tow, Donna Fujimoto Cole founded Cole Chemical & Distributing, Inc. with $5,000. After working for Goldking Chemical for four years and owning 3 percent of the company, the partners started del Rey Chemical International where Ms. Cole was named VP Sales and a 26 percent owner. Subsequently DuPont, Exxon, Monsanto and Shell encouraged Donna to start her own business because they appreciated the responsiveness, honesty, market intelligence and sourcing in short supply. Ms. Cole has experience with startups, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestures in the chemical manufacturing, distribution, warehousing and packaging areas.
Brad Freels

Brad Freels is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Midway and was named Co-Executive Chairman of Parkway, Parkway’s development partner, in May of 2023 when Midway and Parkway announced the new venture between the firms. Brad joined Midway in May 1983 and opened its Houston office at that time. He became a partner in 1990 and was appointed Chairman in 1999. Under Brad's leadership, Midway has prospered and become one of the most active developer/investment owners in the greater Houston area.
Michael Sorrell

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he earned his B.A. degree in government from Oberlin College. Sorrell was the recipient of the Sloan Foundation Graduate Fellowship to attend Harvard University. He later received his M.S. degree in public policy from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. Sorrell continued his education at Duke University, where he was one of the founding members of the Journal of Gender Law & Policy and served as the vice president of the Duke Bar Association and earned his J.D. degree. In 2015, Sorrel earned his Ed.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After completing law school, Sorrell worked for several law firms in Dallas, Texas. He then served as a special assistant in the executive office of President Bill Clinton. After serving in the Clinton administration, Sorrell founded a public affairs consultancy. In 2001, Sorrell was elected to the Board of Trustees for Paul Quinn College in Dallas. He became the 34th president of the institution in 2007.
